「ホーム・アウェイ・フロム・ホーム」 〜多摩美術大学校友会ニューヨーククラブ」展 Xll（HAFH展 Xll ） 開催期間：2016年9月15日（木）− 9月30日（金） 会場：天理ギャラリー 43 West 13th Street, New York, NY 10011 http://www.tenri.org 時間：12 - 6pm (月− 金) 10am - 3pm (土)　日休　（※最終日30日は、５pmまで。） オープニングレセプション：9月15日（金） 6 − 8pm 多摩美術大学校友会ニューヨーククラブは、来る9月15日より、天理ギャラリーにおいて展覧会　「ホーム・アウェイ・フロム・ホーム〜多摩美術大学校友会ニューヨーククラブ」（以下HAFH展）Xll を開催致します。 多摩美術大学校友会ニューヨーククラブは2003年に発足し、今年で13周年を迎えました。今では、会員はトライステイトエリア在住者を中心に、日本からの加入者も含め100名を超える規模となりました。本展には、その内26名が参加します。 「ホーム・アウェイ・フロム・ホーム」は、「故郷を離れた故郷」 という意味です。このタイトルには二つの意図が込められています。一つ目は、故郷から離れた生活は、私達が後にしてきた「日本」をより意識し、アイデンティティを自覚すること。もう一つは、ニューヨークという世界のアートマーケットの中心での研鑽がもたらす、自らの殻を破るような、創造の成果の発表を目指すことです。 HAFH展は、2004年から始まり、今回で12回目。本展は毎年、幅広い年代のアーティストが集まり、統一された作風ではなく、個々それぞれの表現方法と感性を持った個性溢れる作品展です。 本展は12回目に至るまで、チェルシーのギャラリー、ノースセーラムにあるハモンド美術館など様々な会場で開催され、出品者はその都度、様々な試みを行って参りました。2012年より会場となった天理ギャラリーは、その広いスペースと、高い天井が、出品者にさらなる挑戦の可能性を与えています。 皆様のご来場を心よりお待ちしております。 多摩美術大学校友会ニューヨーククラブ　ホームページ　http://www.tamabiny.com　 tamabinyclubpress@gmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Immediate Press Release Home Away From Home Xll The Alumni Association of Tama Art University NY Club September 15 − 30, 2016 Reception: Thu., September 15, 6 − 8pm At: TENRI Gallery 43 A west 13th Street, New York, NY 10011 http://www.tenri.org Gallery Hours: Monday − Friday: 12-6pm / Saturday: 10 am − 3pm Closed on Sundays (9/30 will be closed at 5pm) We'd like to announce that "Home Away From Home Xll” (HAFH Xll) , The Alumni Association of Tama Art University NY Club Exhibition, will be held September 15 − 30, 2016 at the TENRI Gallery (43A W 13th Street, New York, NY 11101) TAMA Art University Alumni Association's NY Club was established in 2003. We currently have a membership of over one hundred: mostly Tristate area residents plus some residents of Japan. Twenty-Six member artists will participate in this exhibition. HAFH is an acronym of Home Away From Home. There are two meanings, two points to this title. The first is to be conscious of our identity. The other is to present creations that break through our own barriers by making our efforts in New York, the center of the world’s art market. The first HAFH Exhibition was in 2004; this is the twelfth HAFH exhibition. HAFH has earned a top reputation as a fully fascinating exhibition where participating artists display their unique expressions and sensibilities. It has been held in many locations, including galleries in Chelsea and at the Hammond museum in North Celum, New York. The exhibitors have tried various challenges each time. In the Tenri gallery, which became the exhibition place from 2012, their large space and a high ceiling give exhibitors the possibility of further challenges.
